The Return of Jaggedy Ann with Knee High Fox and Queen's Riot at Count's Vamp'd Las Vega

Girl power ruled the night at Count’s Vamp’d in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19th, when three female fronted acts invaded the rock club - including the long awaited return of Vegas' JAGGEDY ANN, featuring everybody’s favorite local female rocker LEONA X, and also KNEE HIGH FOX, and more las Vegas locals QUEEN'S RIOT.

The show was opening by two very interesting female driven bands, the first was the all female line-up of Queens Riot, an all-female rock band according to their FB that "pay(s) homage to the great music of Runaways, Joan Jett, Led Zeppelin, KISS, The Who, and more!", and true to their word they rocked the place. The band has Maya Martillin i- Lead Guitar, Angelica Santis - Bass Guitar, Tracey Hope - Drums, and Mariah Baldwin -Vocals and is a great to addition to the Vegas scene.

The second was a band on the rise that we are expecting big things from in the very near future, the female fronted KNEE HIGH FOX. This L.A. act is a must see live show with the dark gothic theme and amazing stage presence from Connelly. I had a chance to catch up with Christine Connelly of Knee High Fox for a moment, who set the record straight on her relationship with Tyler Connelly from Theory of a Deadman. Christine explained that because they remain such good friends, people always thought (as I had) that Tyler was her brother, when in fact he is actually her ex-husband, and they continue to write and play together at times.

The headliner on the night was the band JAGGEDY ANN , who were once a huge draw in Vegas, but had not performed together in the last eleven years, and it did not take much more than one song in to make the crowd realize why people have been clamoring so long for this act to get back together. Anytime you see Claudia Z working in a project with Leona X there is an instant chemistry that is just unmistakable. It may have helped that tonight was Leona’s birthday celebration as well to give her just a little more reason to rock the crowd. The band also features Gayla Dawn on vocals and Holly Nichole on drums. Leona X is one of the busiest women in Vegas rock with her solo effort, and all girl AC/DC tribute, as well as other local projects, and anything that Leona X puts her name to in this town seems an immediate success.

What an amazing night to witness a few of the fastest rising female stars in the rock game, with LEONA X and her JAGGEDY ANN project, Christine Connelly and KNEE HIGH FOX and Vegas newest addition Queen's Riot. Girls definitely ruled and boys definitely drooled on this night!
