ALL HAIL THE YETI with Invidia, Broken Rail and Driven at Adrenaline Bar LV

All Hail the Yeti was a highly anticipated show for the Adrenaline Bar this month, but as we reached the date it became a night where a heaviness hung in the air as everyone heard about the passing of Chris Cornell. It was good for people to come together and celebrate music, even in the midst of such a sad event. And the line up for the Adrenaline show from Area702Presents promised a great night of music.

Opening the show were local boys Driven, and they started the evening off with a emotional acoustic tribute to Cornell which brought a silence over the crowd. After a few moments to recompose themselves, the band then launched into their usual brand of in your face rock n roll and showed the crowd why they are one of the top bands playing locally today.

Next was a band that surprised everyone - Broken Rail from Alabama, a band that Maximum Threshold Radio calls "the breakout band of 2015". This band is solid, consisting of Blake Clawson (vocals,) Dave Delacruz (guitar), Dick Black (bass) and Alex Hilton (drums), with hard, driving rock n roll. We hope these guys make another stop later this year in Vegas.

Even though they were listed as the headliner ALL HAIL THE YETI stepped down a spot so local boys Invidia could close out the show in their hometown of Las Vegas. All Hail the Yeti hails from Los Angeles and have been together for 11 years, yet they have only have released 2 CD's. This is a metal / metalcore band that comes off as very angry onstage, they have a sound that reminds you of Down or Pantera with crashing guitars and a thunderous bass / drum combo. These guys were just pure fun to watch and made it hard to stand still. If you like your music loud and hard then Yeti is for you.

Now it was time for the newly revamped band based in Las Vegas Invidia. With the recent departure of singer Travis Johnson and the addition of Evan Seidlitz this band is a powerhouse live. The band consists of Brian Jackson (formerly of Skinlab) on lead guitar, Matt Snell (formerly of Five Finger Death Punch) on bass guitar, Marcos Medina Rivera (formerly of Skinlab) on rhythm guitar and Darren Badorine of Six Ounce Gloves on drums. Touring on their debut CD As The Sun Sleeps, the band killed it on their hit single "Feed the Fire". A big surprise was Aaron Nordstrom of Gemini Syndrome getting onstage and performing with the band! This is a band going places and you definitely want to catch them on this tour when it comes through your town.
