JUGGALO WEEKEND NIGHT #2 with INSANE CLOWN POSSE MACCABE SHOW, FLATLINERZ, KUNG FU VAMPIRE, BIG HOOD

To start off night #2 of the Las Vegas Juggalo Weekend we decided to go inside and check out some of the JUGGALO CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING which was being held inside the big room at the Fremont Country Club. As we walked in we were surprised at how many people were inside, it was packed wall to wall and the announcer kept encouraging fans to take photos or video the matches. The atmosphere was electric, and the nights events included matches such as THE BLOODY PIMP SLAP MATCH, WOMENS STREET FIGHT, THUMBTACK DEATH MATCH, BARBED WIRE BRAWL and The DEATH MATCH MAIN EVENT. These matches were alot like the old ECW where blood was the norm and expected with the crowd chanting 'we want blood' throughout the matches. These matches were not just men, but also women were involved to the delight of the largely male audience. These matches kept going on all night so we would go inside watch for awhile then head outside to the main stage.

And on the main stage.... Opening the show on night #2 was another local Vegas rapper who goes by the name OUIJA. Ouija was late getting to the stage, and the announcer claimed he was in jail and they just posted his bail. Ouija is a talented rapper who I have never seen before and I put right up there with night #1 opener Donnie Menace.

Following Ouija it was BIG HOODOO, and is known for his tribal face paint which features a white stripe over red face paint. Big Hoodoo is from Detroit and his style is described as horrorcore. His music is influenced by inner city street life and horror fantasy.

Next was a rapper from San Jose California called KUNG FU VAMPIRE. Kung Fu’s style is a mix of goth, funk and electro, and he also performs with a drummer. Kung Fu comes out in a long red chinese robe and white goth style face paint and darkened eyes as he stalks the stage spitting out his lyrical rhymes. He avoids rapping about drugs and has spoke out against drug use in particular meth, and was a fan fav on this night, Kung Fu Vampire is the real deal.

FLATLINERZ from Brooklyn NY is a group responsible for introducing the term horrorcore to rap, their style is a fusion of hip hop and horror. This group has been around for over 20 years now and I believe this was their first time performing here in Vegas. Jining them onstage was one of their emcees Gravedigger who threw out horror masks to the crowd. This was old school style hip hop which was different than all the younger talent that performed that weekend.

It was once again INSANE CLOWN POSSE closing the night. and ICP described this Macabre night as "A Celebration of all the Wicked Shit", their darkest most sinister show of their career, performing their sickest, most horrific, darkest songs ever. With sickening skin suspension sideshows, pure horror, thrills, and chills, and JCW bloody death matches, is exactly what took place that night to the thrill of their fans. Insane Clown Posse gave the fans exactly what they wanted, an insane stage show with the usual truck load of Faygo. Drenched, soaked and exhausted was how the final show came to an end for the throngs of fans who packed downtown Las Vegas for the first ever Juggalo Weekend in Las Vegas.
