HE IS WE, the indie pop band from Vancouver, Washington, made a rare appearance in Las Vegas when they brought their two person acoustical act to the Beauty Bar on March 15. Rachel Taylor’s incredible vocal prowess in something that just has to be experienced live, as the recordings just do not give you the full effect of just how great this lady’s voice truly is. In early 2018, HE IS WE released He is We Chapter One which contained digital re-masters of previously released songs.
It is rare to see in intimate acoustic show downtown at the Beauty Bar, a place better known for its loud raucous acts, but intimate is exactly what Rachel Taylor and HE IS WE gave us on this evening. He is We Chapter One contains acoustic versions of songs like “Pardon Me”, “Blame it on the Rain”, and “Happily Ever After” that were perfect fits for a sitting such as this evening.
The evening was all about the incredible vocal prowess of Rachel Taylor. After a brief hiatus brought on by health concerns back in 2012, Rachel showed us all why so many fans of HE IS WE long for the live version of this act.
