DOKKEN Performs at the Fremont Street FREE Summer Concert Series

DOKKEN, one of the best selling metal bands of the 80’s, played a FREE concert on Fremont Street as part of the Summer Concert Series in Las Vegas on Friday July 27th to a packed outdoor stage. Dokken was formed way back in 1979, and have sold over 10 million albums. The band has undergone many versions throughout the years, and for this version there were just 2 original members - original vocalist Don Dokken and Mick Brown on drums. Joining them were Chris Carville on bass, and Jon Levin who absolutely killed it on guitar. Dokken opened the show with "Kiss Of Death", which got the crowd fired up hearing the opening chords screaming throughout the streets, and followed with "The Hunter", then the big hits starting coming with "Into The Fire", "Breaking The Chains", "Dream Warriors", "Just Got Lucky", and "Alone Again".

After an hour of hits the show headed into the final stretch with classic singles such as "It’s Not Love" and "In My Dreams". The band closed the show with a powerful "Tooth and Nail". Don Dokken thanked the fans, and the band tossed picks and drum sticks to the appreciative crowd. Don who is now 65, put on a hell of a show with a great band behind him, and once again Fremont Street gave the people of Vegas another FREE show they will always remember

Don’t forget coming up are these FREE Summer Concert Series shows on Fremont Street!
