Raymond Watts Post Industrial PIG at Beauty Bar LV with Fira and Dirt Halo

This was a night I have been waiting for, I have never seen PIG before and was really looking forward it. Raymond Watts brought his Hell to Pay in the USA tour to Las Vegas, and everyone was ready to see the post-industrial Watts live. The show was highly aniticipated by many, and the crowd filled the outdoor Beauty Bar early, and also got to see two great Vegas bands that opened he show.

First on the bill was a Las Vegas young band with lots of potential called FIRA, a female fronted group led by Hannah Fira, filled with a great band of musicians. Fira was a perfect choice to set the mood for Thursday nights entertainment. DIRT HALO, another hard rock Vegas act followed, who once again delivered a killer set and got a rousing response from the crowd.

Raymond Watts is the founding and sole member of the post-industrial music project PIG, and is so unique has been called "genre of one". Watts was accompanied by drummer and guitar player for this live show, and took to the stage wearing mirrored sunglasses with a silver fringe jacket, leather boots and straps across his body, looking like a rockstar stormtrooper. In accordance with religious undertones to PIG’s music, Watts wore the classic priest black shirt and white collar as well. Watts has a great stage presence and knows how to play up to his fan base, and opened the show with "The Chosen Few", a song with that classic industrial beat. Watts is a founding member of KMFDM, and the Vegas set included the KMFDM song "Juke Joint Jezebel", as well as KMFDM vs. PIG's Secret Skin. Watts recently released a new EP with single "That's the Way (I LIke It)" (KC & the Sunshine Band) in additional to remixes from his previous album Risen, and the single made it's way into the Las Vegas set as well. Purchase the new EP and single and watch for tour dates HERE .
