Hellzapoppin' Circus Side Show Revue is a world renowned theatrical circus / thrill-show where lots of deadly stunts are performed to a loud non-stop rock n roll soundtrack, and at times you question are you at a sideshow or at a concert! The show has everything you would expect from side show acts, and includes some pretty good entertainers, and features "Lizard Man", who is a self-made freak tattooed from head to toe with green scales and complete with a split tongue and implanted horns on his head and arms. There is half-man "Short E." who has been featured in the new Ripley's Believe It Or Not book Shatter Your Senses. Also performing on this night was the "Anti Conjuror" himself Dan Sperry, and a world class sideshow magician extraordinaire John Shaw. The worlds smallest escape artist Nik Sin, who stands just 3 ft tall was aboard, along with the human pin cushion Eric Ross. The show was 2 sets with a intermission in between, and the crowd was packed towards the stage and getting a good view was tough as the stage is a bit low at Triple B’s for this kind of event. The show was exactly as I expected, long needles through the face and arms, string pulled through the neck, and a huge corkscrew through "Lizard Man's" mouth and nose. There was sword swallowing and magic tricks that left the audience in awe. Hellzapoppin' has toured with such musical acts as Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Avatar, Rammstein and more, and I highly recommend this show - you will see things that will amaze you and leave you in awe.
