Oh Sleeper with Bloodied/Unbowed and Sold Out Show in Vegas with Hawthorne Heights

American metalcore band Oh Sleeper hit Vegas on tour with Hawthorne Heights and out on the road in support of their newly released album Bloodied/Unbowed, the fourth studio album by Oh, Sleeper, and their first full-length album since Children of Fire in 2011. Fans showed up early at the Backstreet Bar & Billiards venue early for the SOLD OUT Vegas show to see Oh Sleeper and hear some of the new tracks live.

Vocalist Micah Kinard along with clean vocalist and guitarist Shane Blay came out strong front and center for the packed house, joined by drummer Zac Mayfeild and touring bassist Seth Webster. “Fissure” from the new album made its debut as well as “The Island”, receiving a great roar of approval from the crowd, who screamed along to every word. Oh Sleeper also reached back to their first release When I Am God for “Vices Like Vipers”, making the short but heavy hitting set a mix of old and new.

Bloodied/Unbowed is the band's first full-length record in almost a decade, the first new release since 2013’s The Titan EP, as the band took a six year hiatus that allowed Shane Blay to work members of fellow American metalcore act, As I Lay Dying to form California based rock/metal band Wovenwar. Bloodied/Unbowed follows the concept The Titan started, keeping the same characters that appeared in The Titan's songs and continuing the destination of the storyline. Bloodied/Unbowed is the full length culmination of what The Titan began.
