Chevy Metal wrapped their summer tour dates with a wowzer of a show in Las Vegas at the Copa Room (at Bootleggers Bistro), a new Vamp'd Beyond event - and it was like Vamp'd Vegas just relocated south of town and kept on rockin'. The much loved local venue on Sahara close its doors in June, but Korie Koker is now booking and promoting live acts in venues including the Copa, with her Motormouth Promotions, and we look forward to seeing more shows with this new venture.

Chevy Metal drew a big Vegas local crowd to the Copa, and some noted faces in the room included musician Ron Mancuso (whose family owns the legendary joint), Korie and Danny "Count" Koker, along with Stoney Curtis and Barry Barnes from Count's 77 band, Sally Steele out covering the night - and a roomful of more local who's who's, and later a surprise stage guest Sebastian Bach.
The Far Worst opened the show, a local Vegas female fronted rock band who has been garnering a lot of fans and interest in the last couple years - the band released their debut single "Monsters" in April of 2025, and is teasing a full-length album later this year. The band lead vocalist Bree Elizabeth is a belter and has powerful pipes, and she has a tenured team with guitarist Andy Ingraham, Jake Bruen on Bass, and Brian Scott on drums. Check out more on The Far Worst HERE.
Chevy Metal kicked off a set with Rolling Stones' "Bitch", showcasing the talents of members Shane Hawkins (drums), Wiley Hodgden (bass), and Brent Woods (guitar). The band was co-founded by drummer Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) and longtime friend Hodgden, and focused on playing a variety of classic rock covers, and having a lot of fun. After Hawkins' passing in 2022, the drum duties were taken on by his son Shane, and this one... he is a real master. The threesome played an eclectic rock mix, from Black Sabbath to Talking Heads, and the crowd yelled and sang along. Hawkins' drum prowess does dominate the set a bit, but the talents of all three tenured musicians creates more than a cover band show, it's a real rock-n-roll time travel experience and a good time.
Chevy Metal is known for a plethora of special guests at their shows, and Vegas was no different, except maybe extra spicy - the ever rambunctious Sebastian Bach joined the band for "Mountain Song", after some kind of screaming match with a fan in the audience (from what I hear you can check TMZ for a playback lol). A more subdued Stoney Curtis (Count's 77) joined on stage as well, and after a shout out to 'Diamond Dave' (David Lee Roth in Vegas playing the next night) Bach, Curtis, and Chevy Metal all powered up an anthemic "Ain't Talking 'Bout Love" for a rousing interactive finish to a more than entertaining night. Ah, Vegas.
It seems Vamp'd Beyond will be an on-going theme, and with Motormouth Promotions will continue to bring classic bands to the Vegas nightlife - keep up with news on more HERE. Stay up to date on Chevy Metal and join their IG HERE.
