Rarely does a band come around and the first time you see them live that they actually deliver what you expect, but that is exactly what Vegas' own DARK CHAPEL did on Friday night on the 3rd Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience. This was a FREE downtown concert, and I made sure I got there early to secure a good spot to check them out.

Dark Chapel is a new band from guitar virtuoso and now lead vocalist Dario Lorina (Black Label Society) along with Dylan Dice (guitar), Mike Gunn (bass), and Luis Silva (drums).

The band has release a debut album Spirit in The Glass, out on MNRK Heavy records earlier this year, and is creating a real buzz in Vegas as well as the metal world, with their grungy, dark blues sound along with floating melodies and memorable vocal harmonies, and not without the shredding guitar solos Lorena is known for. There is a definite nod to BLS, but Chapel is forging its own sound. Here is a clip of Dark Chapel at the Fremont Free Show https://www.youtube.com/shorts/epe38EdwnMo .
Dark Chapel has several songs from the album out on video, and you can check out single "Corpse Flower" HERE. The band will also be performing in Vegas on October 17th at The Usual Place opening for Corrosion of Conformity, tickets and info HERE. You can head over to their website to keep up on everything on the band HERE.
