PSYCLON NINE: FROM HELL AND BACK TOUR WITH SPECIAL GUESTS

SPECIAL GUESTS CLOCKWORK ECHO, OUR FRANKENSTEIN,

CORVINS BREED, And SYSTEM 6

THE DIVE BAR LAS VEGAS

I can not describe how excited I was when promoters Malevolent announced that they were bringing PSYCLON NINE to the Dive Bar in Las Vegas. I have seen Psyclon Nine twice now and they have become my favorite industrial metal band. I am baffled at why this band is not massive - I have never seen anything like a Psyclon Nine show.

The show started off with Las Vegas locals SYSTEM 6, an industrial metal band that just might be the best opening band I have seen recently - to say I love this band is an understatement. This band is hard and heavy and frontman Blake Attebury is fantastic at delivering the vocals. We are looking forward to their next LV Gig! Follow them on FB at SYSTEM 6.

New England industrial metal band CORVINS BREED was next, a band led by singer / songwriter Matty Corvin. Matty does a great job of fronting this band and is its heart and soul. The songs are solid and the show was intense, We loved this band and hope they make their way out west again sometime soon.

OUR FRANKENSTEIN is American industrial / goth metal band fronted by Ryan Frankenstein, who wore a half mask, and the band surprisingly good. I really loved this bands set! Following Our Frankenstein was a band I thought would have been a better fit on the Combichrist Old School tour than the Psyclon Nine Tour. CLOCKWORK ECHO is an industrial duo that to me sounded more techno than industrial. Led by frontman Gabriel Ryan and a female DJ this duo incorporates sideshow stuff into their set. The female DJ took a grinder and shot sparks all over the place using a metal backed guitar and the drummer for Corvin’s Breed joined her and did a fire dance. Clockwork Echo really put on a crazy fun show and had the crowd dancing along to their show.

The anticipation and energy from the crowd was evident as the lights went down and the headlining band took to the stage. PSYCLON NINE returned to Sin City in style and opened the show with “See You in Hell”, with frontman Nero Bellum dressed head to toe in black leather with a black eye patch, standing at a podium in the center of the stage and singing most of the songs from there. Lead guitarist Todd Buller’s playing sounded insane on the following "Money and Sex and Death". Lead vocalist Nero Bellum delived a powerful and dynamic performance during a hefty set, a fantastic return to LV. Check them out at Bandcamp , IG and Facebook.
