SESSANTA CELEBRATE ONCE AGAIN IN LAS VEGAS WITH A SPECTACULAR V2.0 'ANNIVERSARY' SHOW WITH A PERFECT CIRCLE, PRIMUS AND PUSCIFER AT PHLIVE

Sessanta V2.0 tour came to the PHLive theater in Las Vegas, with members of A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus taking the stage for a fabulous night of music and mayhem for the anniversary of the tour originally celebrating Maynard James Keenan's 60th birthday, and Sessanta decided to revive the party again this year for another run and play for some new cities and fans. "We celebrated the shit out of the 60th last year, and we celebrate the shit out of 61", and the show began.

All three bands combined one the stage, changing members in and out through the night for a real interactive feel, and a lot of joking and fun. The stage had two levels, the main floor with the active players of the moment, and a high platform with three drum sets and a comfy looking lounge area on each side, where rotating members could hang out in view of the audience as other played their turns. There were stairs on the sides up to the deck (with disability chair lifts lol), and the bottom floor was set up almost bar-like (ping pong table included) taking up the huge PHLive stage.

The three hour show began with "The Package" with Puscifer front and center, birthday hats and all, and the setlist was cut into sections from each contributing 'group', which gave us an array of classic songs from each band, overlapping with each other and combining on songs throughout the set. Primus featured a live debut of “Little Lord Fentanyl”, an unreleased collaboration between Keenan and Les Claypool, and also featured Puscifer's Corina Round as well for the live cut, and Puscifer showcased a live debut of "The Algorithym" in one of their dedicated sets as well. The lengthy night culminated in Primus cuts “Southbound Pachyderm” and “Pablo’s Hippos” with extra guests, and a full stage with all the players for a finale "Grand Canyon".

The tour has just begun, with Vegas just the second date of the celebration, and continues through early June in the US. Keenan hinted that Sessanta may have an album in the works, so be sure to keep up on info, tour dates an more HERE.
