Silverstein packed the House of Blues in Las Vegas for a SOLD OUT date on their last leg of 25 Years Of Noise Anniversary Tour, showcasing their decades plus catalogue with a show that also featured sets from Bloom, Free Throw, and Thursday

Fans packed against the barricade early, not missing a moment of the show, and got a real treat with Australia's Bloom. The band came out the gate hard, and I really liked them immediately, they had intensity and aggressiveness mixed with a real joy at being on stage. With vocalist Jono Hawkey, guitarists Jarod McLaren and Oliver Butler, bassist Andrew Martin and drummer Jack Van Vliet the young band really packs a punch.

Bloom calls themselves "emotional metalcore", and thats what they induce - the crowd was all in, singing and headbanging out front to the short but intense set, the bodies already moshing and flying not five minutes in. Bloom's set was heavy on cuts form their newest album The Light We Chase (Pure Noise Records), check it out and more HERE.

FREE THROW kept the energy flowing, with a frenzy of a set with surfers rolling over the crowd, as vocalist Cory Castro led the entire room in "The Corner's Dilemma" and the fans bounced. And Bounced. And sang so loud it was like a continuous chorus out there.

"Pallet Town" from the album Those Days Are Gone (the band celebrated the album's 10 year anniversary this year), kept up the fun, and we also got to hear new track "Mike Nolan's Long Weekend" in the set. Free Throw are a really feel good experience, and easy to sing and dance along, but the last song of their set they had a rolling line of crowd surfers from back of the room to the pit, that ended only when "Two Beers In" did.

Those Days Are Gone has been re-released as a double 10th anniversary edition, with rerecorded versions and guests, check it our HERE. More on the band HERE.

THURSDAY came on strong with "The Other Side Of The Crash", and had the room buzzing and singing. The band reunited and toured minimally in the last five years, and so many were so excited to see them back out on the road and live again.

Thursday are a bit harder and emotively darker than Free Throw, and pumped up the adrenaline with a longer, pulsing set. Vocalist Geoff Rickly belted out songs from their early albums, and the fans also got to hear ""Application for Release From the Dream", the band's first new track in 13 years, released in 2024. "Jet Black New Year" and the closing "War All The Time" really highlighted their show, and the fans really connected - The band has only played Vegas once in the last couple decades, the once as part of the When We Were Young fest. This was a treat. Listen to new music from Thursday HERE.

SILVERSTEIN came out the gate on level 10 with “Negative Space” and “Drain the Blood” off their newest release, Pink Moon, and "Stress" off its partner album Antibloom (both released this year on UNFD Records as a two part project in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the band). It was awesome to hear new cuts live, and fans knew the words, they sang loud and hard through the new cuts.

The set started off with the new, and then moved backwards through the Silverstein extensive catalogue, with heavy hitters "Massachusetts", "The Afterglow" and "Your Sword Versus My Dagger" as well as a few we don't hear as much... "I Am Alive in Everything I Touch" and "A Shipwreck in the Sand" and "The End" were real blast to hear live again. "World's Apart' finished with a nod to My Chemical Romance with the "Helena" chorus, complete with big screen video!

There were treats and surprises - for the encore Shane Told played an acoustic "My Heroine" as the whole place sang along. "Smashed Into Pieces" had a special guest vocalist - Ryan Hart joined Told for the song, which got him eliminated from his American Idol audition back in the day lol. "Bleeds No More" really brought the house down, a fitting finale to a night. Silverstein never disappoint, and the 25 Years of Noise setlist made for a truly amazing show. The tour runs through mid December, check out the new music and more HERE.
