Stitched Up Heart : Sharpen their Teeth in Las Vegas with "Wolves"

Los Angeles heavy rockers STITCHED UP HEART were out supporting Escape the Fate on the Out of the Shadows Tour this month, stopping in Las Vegas at Brooklyn Bowl for a fantastic show.

The band played a short but ferocious set, beginning with a powerful “To The Wolves”, the newest single from their album of the same name (just out September 1 via Century Media Records). The single features Escape The Fate's Craig Mabbitt, which made Stitched Up Heart a fitting support act for the tour.

The band has stayed solid over the last few years, with vocalist Alecia "Mixi" Demner and a line up of James Decker on drums, Merritt Goodwin on guitar and Randy Mathias on bass, and have grown darker and more reflective in their sound - something that shows clearly in the To The Wolves cuts.

Their show gave newcomers a taste of their updated bloodthirsty style, and the high energy and enthusiasm they bring to the stage. As for their most loyal fans, they sang and screamed their way through the 6 song set. The new album is moody and melodic and expanding: Wolves is a scopic work for the band, and could take them far.
