Cali metal punk rock band STRUNG OUT played a heavy show at the Virgin Casino's 24Oxford Club, rallying the Vegas punk rock fans for a hard hitting set and a lot of fun.
The band kicked off hard with "Future Ghosts" from their 2024 album Dead Rebellion, the 10th record from the band on Fat Wreck Chords, a new record with a melodic take and the usual SO pummeling sound.
Jason Cruz made a frenetic focal point on stage, belting our vocals while bandmates Rob Ramos, Chris Aiken, and Derik Envy jumped and crashed across the stage for a blur of movement and blast of punk sound. Chris Aiken recently moved back over to guitar, and new bassist Derik Envy now rounds out the front line. Daniel Blume pounded out the drums, who joined in 2022. Â A new solid lineup, a new record, so much energy - and the crowd gave the energy back in spades, singing and with a pit going off the bat.
The set featured a few songs from the new record, and also expected must hears, complete with "Matchbox", "In Harm's Way" and "Razor Sex". Lots of beer, screaming and circle pits, new merch, a good time had by all. The tour continues through September into October, with headliners and festival dates,
