Tantric with Killing Giants, Project Redline and Kirra at Adrenaline Bar LV

It was nice to see such a great turn out for this show on a Sunday Night at the Adrenaline Bar! This was a night of amazing bands with a 4 band lineup for the night. Opening the show was Killing Giants, and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW! What a solid band! This was only their second show there, but they way they sounded they could of easily been direct support. I don't believe I have heard another band playing locally who sounds like them. Killing Giants features 3 really good musicians and by the sets end had the crowd on their feet.

It was the debut show for Project Redline, and this band describes their sound as "American Groove Rock". Project Redline is a good time band with solid drumming and a great guitar player. Check these guys out at some of the local venues around Las Vegas.

All the way from Oklahoma was Kirra, and this band describes its sound as straight up and raw, and thats exactly what we witnessed Sunday night. Kirra's sound is very powerful, and fronted by a wiry Jesse Williamson on guitar and vocals, Daxton Paige lead guitar, Ryne McNeil on bass and Zach Stafford on drums., they are tight and solid. Kirra was one of the best bands we have seen this past week.

Tantric headlined the night, and is a band who seems to go through alot of members. The only remaining original member is lead singer Hugo Ferreira, and it was a pleasant surprise to see Troy Patrick Farrell on the drums for this show. Tantric is best know for their hit "Breakdown" from their self titled debut Tantric in 2001. Their sound is dark and dirty and is perfect for Las Vegas. Tantric also played other semi-hits such as "Astounded", "Down and Out" and "Hey Now". It was another great show in a great venue on a Sunday night!
