INFECTED RAIN : MUTATION PHASE 2026 TOUR in Las Vegas with STITCHED UP HEART and SILENT THRONE

From the second this tour was announced, I have counted down the days... Infected Rain has been one of my favs since I first saw them back in May of 2022, and to throw in Stitched Up Heart for this Mutation Phase Tour it was a must see.

Opening up the show was local metalcore band Silent Throne (formerly Haddonfeild), a great fit for the show with their dark, heavy tunes. The band established themselves in the regional scene, released their milestone breakout single, "Break Away," on bandcamp HERE. More on Silent Throne HERE.

Alecia "Mixi" Demner and her band Stitched Up Heart stormed the stage, and kicked off their show with “Sick, Sick, Sick”. The band is out on the road promoting their upcoming fourth album Medusa (Judge & Jury Records) which will be released on June 12. Mixi was on fire and looked amazing, with her long flowing blue hair, black boots and black skirt with a lace top. The band is top notch with Merritt Goodwin on guitar, Randy Mathias on bass and Delaney Jester on drums.

The band played my fave "Cannibal", and the title track "Medusa" off the upcoming record, which was fantastic. They closed out their set with the song "Monster" to a roaring Vegas crowd. Stitched Up Heart seem to have the momentum to propel them to the next level, and you can keep up with their rise HERE.

It’s been four years since I last saw Infected Rain, and it was the first time they played a show in Vegas. Infected Rain is a metal band from Moldova, quickly becoming a staple on the US metal scene. Infested Rain is Alice Lane on bass, Vadim "Vidick" Ojog on guitar, Eugen Voluta on drums and of course the sensational Elena “Lena Sissorhands” Catarga on vocals. Lena Sissorhands lives here in Vegas, and made their final stop on their 55 date Mutation Phase Tour , and in the intimate setting of the Bizarre Bar in the arts district to a packed house.

Lena took to the stage wearing a floor length black skirt with a red belt and a matching small black top. She is a presence onstage with her long flowing yellow/orange dreads and heavily tattooed body. The band kicked off their show with “The Answer Is You”, a perfect song to showcase the band's industrial metalcore sound.

Lena told the crowd that she has lived in Vegas for10 years now, and was thrilled to finally play here again, in front of so many friends and fans who came out to support - including grammy nominated American cellist Tina Guo, who stopped by to catch the show. Infected Rain played a lengthy set heavy from their 2024 album Time (Napalm Records), and new single "Stranger" and unreleased teaser tune “UT Supra", ending their main set with Never To Return" before an encore and finale with "Judgemetal Trap".
