SHINEDOWN DANCE IN LAS VEGAS WITH COHEED AND CAMBRIA AND FROM ASHES TO NEW

SHINEDOWN once again returned to Las Vegas, with the Dance, Kid, Dance ll World Tour at the Mandalay Ultra Arena for a big night of hits, fire, and yes, a little Dance. Shinedown has a new album out, and the tour showcased the new music as well as career spanning years of hits from the band.

The night got off to a face paced start with From Ashes to New, who took full advanage of the big stage and huge ramps that came out into the crowd to get close and personal, immediately turning the arena into a pounding force with "New Disease" from their new 2026 album Reflections (Better Noise Music). They really came out swinging, with the dual vocals of Danny Case and Matt Brandyberry creating full force nu metal punch. The fans screamed and had fists into the air as FATN gave a short but impressive set, with a real taste of the new record. Check out the album and more HERE.

Coheed and Cambria added their prog metal sound to the show, with a set that included a bit from their Axis Trilogy – the newest incarnation Act III: The Father of Make Believe was released last year and continues The Amory Wars chronicle. With hair flying and smoke highlighting the multicolor lights, Claudio Sanchez created a kaleidoscope of sound and color on center stage. "A Favor House Atlantic" got the fans off to a heady start, and the set had a bit from across their storyboard, with a finale of fave "Welcome Home". Shinedown was the king of the night, touring in support of the release of their 8th record, conveniently titled EI8HT (Atlantic Records) on the second leg of the Dance, Kid, Dance tour. The Ultra arena gave the opportunity for plenty of blasting pyro and smoke and strobes, and Shinedown once again gave a phenomenal performance - "Safe and Sound" from the new record kicked off their loooong show, and Brent Smith's vocals soared throughout the arena, with the crowd singing along to all. It is absolutely insane how solid and talented this band is live on stage, always consistent and always a great connection and feels from the fans.

Shinedown spanned decades of music as they rolled through the set, we got to hear new single "Young Again", and classic faves like "Diamond Eyes" and "Sound of Madness". Mid show drummer Barry Kerch got a happy birthday sing-a-long from all, and after 20 songs the fire and smoke lit up the room again for the finale "Second Chance" for an even bigger sing-a-long to complete the night.
