THE IRON MAIDENS LAY WASTE TO BROOKLYN BOWL LV, with Guests CRASH MIDNIGHT

Friday night's show at the Brooklyn Bowl was for the true Iron Maiden fan - The Iron Maidens returned to Las Vegas to bring their all female tribute show to the Vegas stage.
Local boys CRASH MIDNIGHT kicked off the show, one of the top local bands, and It’s hard for me to believe that these guys have been around for 20 years. The band is led by Shaun Soho on vocals, with brother Bo on bass, Alex Donaldson on lead guitar, Matt Jimino on guitar, and Mitchell Teranova on drums for a 70's influenced powerhouse rock sound with a high energy show.
Right from the start Shaun told the crowd “Crash Midnight is currently working on a new album, so if you have seen us in the past this will be all new stuff”. The band also threw in a cover of Nazareth’s “Hair Of the Dog”, and as the band neared the end of their set Shaun told the crowd “It is time to play our newest song "Crash & Burn”. Stay up to date on new music and shows HERE.
THE IRON MAIDENS is THE fantastic all female Iron Maiden tribute band who have been around since 2001, with some lineup changes over the years - the current group is long time vocalist Kirsten Rosenberg, Wanda Ortiz on bass, Linda McDonald on drums and the powerhouse duo of Shani Mimmelman and Nikki Stringfield on guitars.
Each member is an accomplished musician and they really work well together as one unit, and power through a solid set of Maiden favorites - from "The Number of the Beast", where a crew member came out dressed in a devil mask and robe, to "The Trooper" where lead singer Kirsten came out dressed in a Union Jack coat waving a British flag, to "Wasted Years" where the crowd screamed along with the band.
Though this band isn't as big as Iron Maiden, they bring a theatrical show to the stage along with the Maiden classics and a lot of fun. If you are an Iron Maiden fan or just love a good metal show, check them out - more on show dates and the band HERE.
