Jinjer brought the Duel Tour to Las Vegas this month, with a phenomenal blast of metalcore and music to the House of Blues. Jinjer has always been at the top of my list of favorite bands, with Tatiana my number one female performer, so I was excited for this tour! Entheos was support, and a perfect fit for the tour. ENTHEOS hail from Santa Cruz, and is made up of ex-members of Animosity, Animals as Leaders and The Faceless. The band is fronted by Chaney Crabb who is a beast

Billy Bob Thornton & his band The Boxmasters opened up their 2026 Morro Rock Tour here in Las Vegas at the Sahara Hotel & Casino, celebrating their 21st album In The Bay. It was a hot Summer night and the Boxmasters provided a night of rocking blues music. All dressed in garage jumpsuits with name patches, Thornton - who is known as "Bud" - led the night with a cigarette in hand most of the concert and a swagger all his own. The veteran Actor has a real passion for music, as

The Fremont Street Experience Summer Series this year has really brought some of the best in Vegas talent, and Dark Chapel held the attention of thousands over the July 4th weekend celebrations with a pounding set on the First Street Stage. The Far Worst opened the show, with vocalist Bree Elizabeth leading the band in a strong set with songs from their newest Vicious Cycle. This band has been making a big impact on the Vegas scene, and check out more music and tour dates HER

The minute I stepped in the House of Blues in Las Vegas you could tell this was not your typical crowd. Fans of 90’s music are now in their 40s and up, and this show was all about 90’s nostalgia - but these two bands were not resting on that nostalgia, the both gave a phenominal show and continue to put out new music. THE VERVE PIPE brought out a crowd of deeply connected fans who remembered their songs when they were the younger generation listening to the radio. The band wa

From the second this tour was announced, I have counted down the days... Infected Rain has been one of my favs since I first saw them back in May of 2022, and to throw in Stitched Up Heart for this Mutation Phase Tour it was a must see. Opening up the show was local metalcore band Silent Throne (formerly Haddonfeild), a great fit for the show with their dark, heavy tunes. The band established themselves in the regional scene, released their milestone breakout single, "Break A

New Found Glory and Yellowcard hit Las Vegas for the UP UP DOWN DOWN Tour, at the beautiful Fontainebleau Theater in Las Vegas, for a night of pure joy and revelry. You could feel the energy and excitement in the room before the bands' even made an entrance. New Found Glory opened their set with "A Love Song", the latest single from their new 2026 album Listen Up! (Pure Noise Records), their first in six years, and the fans were singing along to a whole new host of faves. The

It is rare to find truly unique shows today, and this bill was just that, with a string instrumental metal band and a Mongolian Folk Rock band on board, and the Vegas crowd was pumped and ready. Finnish symphonic metal band APOCALYPTICA take the stage first, and the front of the venue is packed with people excited to see this band again. They tour through Las Vegas frequently, but tonight playing the Metallica only set was something to look forward to. The band released their

It felt strange to be in Las Vegas on Memorial weekend and not have the three day revelry of Punk Rock Bowling this year, and the loss was physically felt in the Vegas punk rock community. But we got a mini PRB at the Brooklyn Bowl with legendary punks Circle Jerks, Gorilla Biscuits and 7 Seconds. Vegas did not disappoint, the show was packed, and locals and musicians were out to have a great night celebrating all things punk, albeit a bit smaller celebration than usual for t

A Las Vegas War Journal by Arnold "Rocky" Kessenger | Through the Metal Lens Las Vegas is a city entirely constructed on the foundation of grand illusions and manufactured spectacles. Yet, when the heavy music community descends upon the Strip, that artificial neon sheen gets instantly painted over with something raw, visceral, and undeniably authentic. On Thursday, May 21st, the air inside and around PH Live at Planet Hollywood carried a distinctly different electric charge.

Harold Mountain / JustAFanPhotos This was a bucket list shoot so once again, and I made the trip down to Phoenix to catch the Godless IV Tour at the Van Buren. IMMOLATION out of New York have been around since the mid 80’s, and play hard, fast with deep guttural vocals. As an opening band they were extraordinary and delivered a strong set of in-your-face music, with Robert Vigna on lead guitar, Ross Dolan bass / vocals, Steve Shalaty on drums and Alex Bouts on rhythm guitar.O

When it was announced that AESTHETIC PERFECTION was finally coming to Vegas I had no idea what to expect, and to make it even more appealing they were bringing one of my personal favorite bands, JULIAN-K along with PRIEST. The show sold out a few days before their arrival, and I was looking forward to the show. I was a little confused when I saw the PRIEST backdrop get hung up behind the stage, but saw the guys in Julian-K take the stage. But thrilled none the less as this wa

Architects blasted into the House of Blues Las Vegas, on their Broken Mirror run supporting their 2025 album The Sky, The Earth & All Between (Epitaph Records), and new "Broken Mirror" single from the album, and brought Holywatr along for a melodic metal night with hot sets from both bands, and a full house for the HOB. LA's Holywatr was just in Vegas supporting Chiodos a minute back, and really killed it, and tonight was no different. The band released brand new album Deo Gr

CHAD GRAY, frontman for Mudvayne and Hellyeah, launched his 30 Years of Madness solo tour at the Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas, a highly anticipated sold out show in Vegas, and I was more than ready to see Vegas wayward son, Chad being near and dear to the Las Vegas fans from his Hellyeah history. In a recent interview with Loudwire, he said this tour came about because Mudvayne decided to take off all of 2026, but he is a worker and his happy place is performing live ons

The legendary Robby Krieger brought his new band Robby Krieger and The Soul Savages to a sold-out crowd at the Copa Room at The Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas, NV this month. Krieger is best known as the lone guitarist, and the only active of the two surviving members of the well-known late 1960's band The Doors. Drummer John Densmore is retired, and singer Jim Morrison & keyboardist Ray Manzarek being deceased. Krieger is known for his unique style of finger picking a

I had been anxiously awaiting this tour since the day it was announced, and the show quickly SOLD OUT, and fans started arriving nearly two hours before doors opened. It’s no surprise, with three monster metal bands all performing on the same stage, in one of the best venues for metal shows in Vegas. ATTILA hail from Atlanta and have been around since 2005, and their sound is heavy, aggressive with a touch of hip hop. They opened with the new single “Concrete Throne”. They

Once again one of the best thrash bands in the world returned to Vegas and this time headlined at the fantastic Brooklyn Bowl! OVERKILL brought the heat to Las Vegas with he Scorching the Earth World Tour and the Brooklyn Bowl was a fire pit of mosh and metal. Opening up the show were two local bands, MADZILLA & SILENT THORNE , who lit the fuse to get the party started. SILENT THRONE is a very solid metalcore/ rock band that brings great energy and a loyal fan base with th
